Our latest fundraising venture is mammoth!
Free Kick's trustees Steve, Sam and Damon, along with five brave (or foolish) friends are going to attempt to visit all 92 League football grounds in the space of 92 hours.
Jack Thorpe, Mark Dowling, Andy Mills, Chris Slade and David Wool, along with Steve and Sam, will split into two teams, each team completing the planned route in opposite directions, starting from Colchester United at 6am on Thursday 19th March and arrive back at London Road, Peterborough in the early hours of Monday 23rd, if all goes to plan!
The route takes us to every corner of the country and each team will cover over 2,500 miles over the four days.

To prove we have visited all of the 92 grounds we have to take a photo of us at each club, regardless of the time of day, weather conditions or the fact we may be catching up on some precious sleep on the back seat of the car. To help do this we have contacted every club to see if we can get pitch-side access to take the photos there and have a good positive response back so far.
We will also be speaking to several TV and radio stations on the way round the country who have shown an interest in supporting our challenge.
Anybody who arranges to meet us at a football ground with some sort of food or drink to keep us going will be loved forever.
Steve Thorpe said: “Jack and I successfully completed this challenge once before, in 2005. Despite being incredibly tiring, the whole experience was fantastic and so memorable that we agreed a few months ago to attempt it again!
We are looking for sponsorship for to cover the cost of the car and for fuel and if any companies are interested in helping us in this way we would love to hear from them. This would then mean that all the money we raise will go towards creating days out for these amazing children.”
